Description
Struggling to get into your bath and out again at the end? This could be the answer!
The Molly Bather is a bath lift with a difference: it lowers the user on a belt right down to the bath floor giving the user a “full soak”, maintaining the whole length, width and depth of the existing bath. Getting in is very easy: simply sit on the padded tower top, hold the grab rail, swing your legs over the bath rim, and be gently lowered into your bath. The waterproof light-touch raise/lower handset has buttons specially designed to aid those with arthritic hands. A unique non-slip cushion helps to keep you central and stable when moving.
When others wish to use the bath without the lift, simply unhook the belt from the wall bracket and it can be fully retracted into the seat.
The lift is powered by a battery stored inside the fixed seat. Just lift up the lid, take the battery out, and charge it in a different room. This ensures that no mains electricity is used in your bathroom The battery will provide around 20 lifts from a single charge.
The Molly Bather is hand-built from high quality aluminium and stainless steel components, designed to last for many trouble-free years. Installation of the unit is easy – it’s height adjustable and can fit most bath tubs – and everything is very easy to keep clean. Maximum user weight is 22 stones/139 kg.
The unit has been in use for less than 5 years, is in truly excellent condition and comes complete with fitting/instruction manual and all necessary fixings.
Collection only from a non-smoking household, Durham City.
