I am advertising this car for my wife. She has owned it for nearly four and a half years. It has been her daily driver. It goes to work and back daily, then family run around at the weekends. The right car has turned up for the right money and so we have decided to move on.
It has been near faultless! It starts first time every time. It is comfortable and very economical. We have done a fair few long runs in it and it sits on the motorway effortlessly. It can return between sixty to eighty miles to the gallon if driven carefully. My wife tends to fill it up once a month at a cost of sixty pounds. It travels about one hundred and fifty miles a week. About six hundred per month or tank full of fuel!!!
It has been serviced regularly with receipts. It has new suspension and bushes. It has had new brakes. It has had new glow plugs also. It goes through each mot and is complemented on its condition. It had a service in january and had a recharge on the air conditioning. It has also had new track rod ends and the tracking done.
It is a six speed automatic or semi automatic. It is a manual gearbox driven automatically. This enables it to get the high mpg. It had a new clutch actuator in twenty twenty three.
It is a Smart For Four underneath. So it benefits from Mercedes build quality. The engine is three cylinders or one bank of the Mercedes three litre V6 diesel engine. The timing chain is changed at two hundred thousand miles. I have regularly seen these little cars with starship mileage! Anything up to two hundred thousand miles.
It has had a new windscreen in the last six months due to a stone chip that developed into a crack. It has had all new wiper blades also. It has mot until december another one can be put on if needed. The car also comes with a forward facing dash camera.
There is general wear and tear around the car. It has one small crease in the passenger rear wing and door. Nicely done when left parked, no note of details! The rear tyres are getting low but will be fine for now. With this in mind I have priced the car accordingly.
