Having a clear out
Had this clock 40 years
Was stood for 20 of them with no batteries
I put new batteries in 6 months ago to try it and it has kept perfect time over this period
Chimes are still working well
Paid quite a lot of money for this clock all those years ago
A good quality item with a quality Japanese movement
