A nice example that has been well looked after throughout its life. The car drives very nicely and is a great example of a useable modern classic.

Throughout my ownership it has been nothing but reliable and affordable both in service items and to run.

Previous owner had the car from approx.2006 to 2022 and kept an extensive service history file with all work being carried out by a Rover/ MG specialist in Hull.
Some notable service work:
- Head gasket, waterpump, multiple cam belts
- Clutch
- Air Con compressor
- Radiator
- Full exhaust system
- Retrimmed front seat to rectify the usual bolster wear.
- The previous owner personally maintained the car to a high standard with the underside being very well cared for and almost all parts being hand painted to protect them. The car has also been cavity waxed in its life helping maintain the overall condition.

Service work complete in my ownership:
- Cam Belt, Water pump and Cam shaft oil seals
- New alternator
- New Top and Bottom engine steady bushes
- Exhaust manifold gasket
- Rear wheel bearing
- New Brake Pad fitting kit for all corners to stop the brakes dragging.

Extras points:
- 2 sets of wheels included in the sale: 17” Straights and 16” Hairpins.
- The car has been upgraded with the 180 side skirts, front splitter, and front fog lights

Bad points:
- Drivers side rear arch has had some paint as the colour difference shows and there is some corrosion starting to show through on this arch.
- Intermittent rear parking sensors.
- Some stone chips on the front end and bonnet

I know when I look back, I will regret selling this car. They are getting increasingly difficult to find in good condition now they are all approaching 20 years old. They are a fantastic drivers car based on a platform from the mid 90’s offering a driving experience that is lost in newer cars.

However, my circumstances mean it has become a third car and will not get the continued use and attention it deserves.
