Mercedes-Benz, E55 AMG

Description

Imported (2012 from Singapore) Mercedes E55 with MKB styling/tuning, believed to be the only such one in the UK. I have no proof of power/performance but it was featured in MB magazine in 2019 where it was stated that it came with 620hp/800nm from factory, definitely not standard.
Car is in need of further investment, I'd guesstimate about £3k to sort everything so I'm open to sensible offers. However, the car starts, drives and stops as you'd expect. I've owned it for 4 years, purchased at just shy of 94k miles and I'm the 4th UK owner. I had a major service done (including all 16 spark plugs) as there was hardly any service history. Also had a new condenser and compressor on the air conditioning system. Serviced again either end of last year or beginning of this year. Previous owner said he'd replaced the SBC pump and had the gearbox rebuilt but no proof of this as he was someone who 'knew people'.

Items that need addressing are:
Rear bumper and front offside arch needs repair.
'Brain' under passenger front seat is needed.
Driver's door lock needs replacing, I believe this is affecting the remote keys and keyless start functions.
Keyless entry has never worked for me, been told it's the micro switches.
Rear diff could do with a service.
Cassette door is broken so is taped shut.
2 dents on the nearside rear door.
Middle undertray is missing.
Front driving lamps are not connected.
Slight exhaust blow somewhere.
Couple of odd noises the car makes, 1 seems to be connected to the brake peddle, the other sounds like a pump of some kind at the front of the engine bay. Doesn't seem to affect the car in anyway and no dash lights are on.
3rd brake light works inconsistently but a new one is supplied (already tinted)
A brake line or some brake lines will need replacing at some point.
Finely, it could do with a tune up

Good points:
Rapid, an absolute animal! The car gets looks everywhere it goes.
KW coilovers so no air suspension. Also means it handles surprisingly well considering it's weight.
All tyres replaced in the last 2 years, 2 last year and 2 this year.
CV joint done on the rear.
Front discs and pads were done in 2023, new rear discs and pads come with the car.
Only £360 a year to tax, £75 less than a UK E55.
In my ownership I've only used E5 super unleaded so it's never had E10 in it.
MOT'd until July 2026
All lights and indicators are tinted.
