DESCRIPTION
First developed in 1993 for a competition in America for the RAF Regiment (The Peacekeeper Challenge -1993). It quickly became the boot of choice for many UK police forces. This was the first boot in the UK to be certified to a police specification that included shock absorption, water repellency, breathability, flame resistance, etc. requirements specifically for police use.
Altberg boots use top quality full grain leather and it is essential that the leather is treated regularly with Leder-Gris wax oil in order to keep the leather supple and enhance the life of the boot.
