Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

Description

Experienced Mechanic / Vehicle Technician required for a busy family run garage in the heart of Hendon.

Key Duties will include:

Undertake repairs such as servicing, brakes, clutches, timing belts, tyres, diagnostics of customer vehicles etc.
Conduct full examinations of vehicles and identify non-routine defects, or additional faults either in the workshop or during road tests.
Undertake vehicle road testing for diagnosis and to test repairs after completion.

Person Requirements:

You will need to be an experienced, Technician / Vehicle Mechanic with a relevant formal qualification and at least 3 years minimum previous experience in a similar role.
Possess good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to colleagues and management staff when required
Be customer focused, able to keep customers experience to the highest level with safety in mind whilst carrying out servicing, diagnosis and repairs.
Be a team Player – assist other technicians when workshop is under pressure & take ownership of any safety issues you identify in the workshop.
Be quality focused with repairs being carried out right first time.
A full UK drivers’ licence is required due to the nature of this role.

Very Unique working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm, Friday 8:30am to 5pm with NO WEEKEND WORK
