Description

This is for my 1991 V Special Mk1 Eunos Roadster.

MOT’d until 25th October 2025, and will sail through the next.

Totally totally solid example. All original metal, never welded anywhere!!

I’ve removed all of the wheel arch liners back and front to clear out the dirt traps and make sure there’s nothing hidden, and it’s superb, literally. See pics.

All drain holes are fully clear. The images of under the arches aren’t wet, I’ve oiled everywhere for preservation reasons.

Mileage is about 130k miles (the clocks are in Kilometres).

Interior features all the V Special bits like wooden steering wheel and handbrake, cream leather seats etc. all in super condition.

She drives and runs like an absolute dream, absolutely faultless.

Bodywork is the original green paint which polishes up beautifully as you can see in the pictures.

The nearside was scraped by a passing trailer when parked about 15 years ago, and although very light damage was given a category D. The damage was repaired but if you look closely there is an area of paint that is slightly different on the door and the front of the wing, and a bit on the rear arch. I was quite reassured by the fact the repairs are somewhat visible, as it shows just how light the damage was. I guess when it happened this was classed as just an old Mazda and not worth the insurance repairing.

None of the above detracts from the stunning appearance, and is the reason I’m not looking for £6k+ for her. I prefer total honesty when buying or selling.

The roof is in good condition too.
2 keys and 2 immobiliser fobs.
History folder.
Excellent alloys and tyres.
Limited slip differential.
Aircon.
Stainless exhaust with a gorgeous deep classic sports car sound.
Recent coilovers so the ride height can be adjusted, personally I think she’s just low enough as she is. Gorgeous stance.

Absolutely any trial or inspection welcomed, including by professional bodies. She is definitely a superb super solid unmolested and unwelded example of a very early MK1 Eunos, and a sought after V Special too.

The price I’m asking is less than some owners spend on welding up rotten examples. Plus you have the rarity of a never welded example!

Grab a bargain. Great investment. Tax and MOT exempt in a few years and I anticipate that’s when these beautiful little cars will start soaring in value. And solid ones are very rare to find.
