Description

I am a retired Teacher of Mathematics having taught mainly in the Secondary sector for over 30 years. I have a good knowledge of all of the exam boards and I have tutored successfully online for many years. I also have a Diploma to teach English .
Lessons are tailored to the student's needs, whether it be a specific topic, a full course, or just help with ongoing schoolwork. I have found that learning is enhanced by showing why and not just how!
When it comes to preparing for exams, I have a comprehensive library of past and up-to-date exam papers.
Homework is set and marked in addition to tutoring time. And for regular students, free ad hoc help is available.

Stanley is very professional and understood what I needed from one to ones. I need help understanding the maths question and he spent his time wisely to teach me. I have what are you just got my exam results back and I have passed and I would say this is down to Stanley teaching me to understand the exam question.

Amazing help. Stan managed to help my daughter pass her GCSE maths. In the run up to the exam her school identified that she has dyscalculia so for her to pass is a major feat. Stan was very calm and patient and did not undermine her efforts, I think this was a key part in her achievement. He is an excellent teacher, and I highly recommend him.
