Description

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead and evolve Millbank Group’s social media presence. You’ll take ownership of social content strategy, campaign execution, community engagement, and analytics. Your mission: to grow our online audience, enhance our employer brand, and drive engagement across candidates, clients, and industry networks.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

Social Media Strategy and Planning

Develop and deliver a comprehensive social media strategy that supports business goals and recruitment campaigns.

Create platform-specific content plans and campaign calendars across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and emerging platforms.

Align social strategy with brand messaging, tone of voice, and core values.Content

Oversee the creation of engaging and creative content, including posts, stories, short-form videos, carousels, and live content.

Collaborate with internal teams to source content ideas, job updates, team highlights, case studies, and success stories.

Manage the content approval process and ensure consistency across all social touchpoints.Community Management

Monitor social platforms daily, responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, professional, and brand-aligned manner.

Encourage community interaction and employee advocacy across channels.Campaign Management

Plan, launch, and manage paid and organic campaigns to support talent attraction, lead generation, events, and brand awareness.

Coordinate with recruitment teams and stakeholders to amplify job roles, sector updates, and growth areas.Analytics and Optimisation

Track and report on KPIs (engagement, reach, impressions, conversions, follower growth, CTRs, etc.) across all channels.

Use tools such as Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Suite, and native insights to analyse performance.

Recommend improvements and test new approaches based on data insights.Brand Development

Act as a guardian for social brand identity and tone of voice.

Contribute to Millbank’s employer branding efforts by showcasing team culture, milestones, and DEI initiatives.Collaboration and Leadership

Work closely with the Managing Director and recruitment teams to ensure alignment of content and messaging.You will have the following qualifications and experience

3+ years’ experience in a social media, digital marketing, or content role.

Proven experience managing business social accounts, especially LinkedIn (B2B focus).

Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with excellent attention to detail.

Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut).

Good knowledge of analytics and social scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Meta Suite, Buffer).

Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and platform best practices.

Organised, proactive, and confident working independently or within a team.It's great if you also have the following

Experience in recruitment, professional services, or employer branding.

Basic understanding of SEO and how it supports social and content strategy.

Familiarity with CRM or marketing platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Mailchimp).Get in touch now
