Description

Are you creative, proactive, and ready to make a difference? Then join our growing Marketing Team at Gateway Qualifications, as we are recruiting for the following exciting roles:

* Campaigns Lead

* Events Officer

* Website Officer

Gateway Qualifications is an award-winning and fast-growing Awarding Organisation (AO) with a clear mission: to widen participation and create opportunities for all. As a registered charity, we’re driven by the impact we make—supporting our centres and learners to achieve meaningful outcomes.

We’re ambitious, forward-thinking, and passionate about what we do. Our success is built on the talent and dedication of our people, and we’re now looking for more like-minded individuals to join us on our journey.

As our Campaigns Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns that engage, inform and convert our target audiences.

You’ll take ownership of campaigns from concept to completion; writing briefs, creating content, coordinating input from across the organisation, and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.

You’ll use data and insights to shape strategy, monitor performance and report on key metrics such as engagement, reach and return on investment. You’ll also line manage the Marketing Officer and play a key role in ensuring brand consistency across all campaign activity.

What We Are Looking For: A marketer with fresh ideas and the ability to lead impactful campaigns.

You’ll need:

* A Level 6 qualification (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related subject

* Strong content creation skills, from writing copy to briefing creative assets

* Experience using marketing tools such as email platforms, social media schedulers and CRM systems

* Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination skills

* An analytical mindset with the ability to draw insights from performance data

As our Events Officer, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a wide range of events that showcase Gateway Qualifications’ work and engage our customers and partners. From national conferences and exhibitions to webinars and online briefings, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of events that support our commercial and marketing goals.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation and external partners to ensure every event runs smoothly, is well attended, and delivers value. You’ll also play a key role in promoting events through digital channels.

What We Are Looking For: Someone who brings fresh ideas, attention to detail, and a thoughtful approach to delivering a successful events programme. You’ll need:

* Minimum Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience) in Event Management, Marketing, Business or Communications.

* Proven experience in planning and delivering events (in person and online), ideally in education or the not-for-profit sector.

* Strong organisational and project management skills, with excellent attention to detail.

* Experience running webinars or virtual events using platforms like Zoom, Teams or GoTo Webinar.

* Confidence in attending and managing exhibition stands and working with venues, suppliers and sponsors.

As our Website Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our website to ensure it is accurate, accessible and engaging. You’ll manage day-to-day content updates, support wider marketing campaigns, and work with colleagues across the organisation to keep our digital presence fresh and effective.

You’ll also play a key role in our Digital Transformation project, which includes the development of a brand-new website. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our digital services and ensure they meet the needs of our customers.

What We Are Looking For: Someone with strong digital skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent user experiences. You’ll need:

* Minimum Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience) in Digital Marketing, Business, Communications or a related subject.

* Experience managing websites using WordPress or a similar CMS.

* A good understanding of HTML, SEO and digital accessibility.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to support non-technical stakeholders.

* Experience using Google Analytics and other tools to monitor and improve site performance.

If you’re passionate about making a difference and enjoy working creatively and collaboratively, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be mainly based at home and will therefore need a reliable, high speed internet connection and a quiet, suitably furnished, place to work. You must be able to commute to our Colchester office as required.

What We Offer

We offer a great employment package that includes 30 days paid holiday (pro rata for part time staff) plus public holidays, a career average defined benefit pension scheme, and an individual LinkedIn learning licence giving access to a variety of courses to support your Continued Professional Development (CPD).
