Post Packer / Post Room Operative

Location: Dartford, DA1

Type: Temporary to Permanent (ongoing work)

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (8.5-hour day including 30-minute unpaid break)

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Post Packer / Post Room Operative to join our friendly team in Dartford. This is a hands-on role involving post preparation, packing, and general warehouse support in a busy, fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for securely packaging and dispatching items, maintaining accuracy and quality while working towards daily targets.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Sorting and preparing outgoing post and deliveries

* Securely packaging picked items using tape, glue or shrink wrap

* Labelling, wrapping and dispatching items accurately

* Checking all items for accuracy and damage before shipping

* Assisting with general warehouse and post room duties

* Maintaining a clean and organised work area

* Standing and walking throughout the day (lifting items up to 5kg)

Ideal Candidate

* Previous post packing or post room/warehouse experience is essential

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

* Reliable, punctual and able to work efficiently under pressure

* Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet all day

* Able to commute reliably to Dartford
