Job Title: Trainee Laser Operator

Location: Sheffield Site

Salary: 12.50 – 15 per hour DOE

Job Type: Full–time, Permanent

About the role:

Assist in the operation of laser cutting equipment under the guidance of experienced operators.Learn to set up machine parameters to support optimal cutting results.Observe and monitor the cutting process to gain understanding of accuracy and efficiency requirements.Support routine maintenance tasks and help identify basic equipment issues.Participate in inspecting finished parts for quality and report any defects.Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Maintain a clean and organized work area.About you:

A willingness to learn and develop technical skills in laser cutting operations.Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in manufacturing processes.An ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.The ability or willingness to learn to interpret engineering drawings.A commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures.Reliable, punctual, and eager to grow within a manufacturing environment.What we offer:
