Technical Product Testing Technician (Strictly No Agencies)

Description

Join our Technical Team and play a key role in product quality, testing and compliance.

We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused Technical Prodcut Testing Technician to support our laboratory, quality control and technical administration activities. You'll help ensure products meet specification, support production deadlines, maintain testing equipment and assist with quality investigations and audits.

What You'll Be Doing

* Carrying out routine QC and product testing.

* Performing specialist testing including bond strength, coefficient of friction, grammage and repeat length checks.

* Managing sample collection, preparation, certification and despatch.

* Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.

* Supporting product release activities and production priorities.

* Assisting with quality investigations, root cause analysis and audits.

* Maintaining technical documentation, SOPs and quality records.

* Monitoring laboratory consumables and arranging replenishment when required.

What We're Looking For

* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

* Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively.

* Good IT and administrative skills.

* A proactive and practical approach to problem solving.

* Previous experience in a technical, laboratory, quality or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
