Our client, a leading manufacturer of bespoke furniture and upholstery, is expanding due to continued success and is now seeking a Production Manager to join their site in the city of London.About the Role

Due to ongoing growth, our client based in Rusper, West Sussex is seeking at least one experienced Sewing Machinist to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for textiles to contribute to the production of high-quality soft furnishings.

Key Responsibilities

Perform all sewing operations to a high commercial standard.

*

Operate industrial sewing machines with accuracy and efficiency.

*

Work from patterns and instructions to produce soft furnishing products.

*

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

*

Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of stitching and finishing.

Ideal Candidate

*

Minimum 2 years of commercial sewing experience (required).

*

Skilled in operating industrial sewing machines.

*

Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.

*

Previous experience in the textile or soft furnishings industry.

*

Able to work independently and meet production deadlines.

Pay & Hours

*

Hourly rate: £12.50 – £13.50 (based on experience)

*

Expected hours: 40 per week

*

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30

*

No weekend work
