Description
Halecroft Recruitment is delighted to support our client, a well–established business based in Trafford Park, in recruiting an R&D Chemist to join their specialist technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory–based Chemist to work across product development, innovation, performance testing, and technical support within a Lubricant Performance Additives environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and test development samples. Conduct product performance evaluations and testing. Support R&D and innovation projects. Respond to technical service requests and customer queries. Prepare and dispatch samples to customers and other facilities. Support the day–to–day running of the laboratory. Manage laboratory consumables, reagents, and safety equipment. Maintain accurate records and test data. About You
Degree in Chemistry or relevant scientific discipline preferred. A Levels in Chemistry and Maths as a minimum. Substantial laboratory experience. Strong analytical and problem–solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team. Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Knowledge of the lubricants industry would be advantageous.
