Job Title: Quality Supervisor - Timber Frame Manufacturing

Location: Birmingham | Full-Time

We are engaged with a leading timber frame manufacturer, delivering sustainable, precision-engineered structures to the construction industry. With quality at the heart of everything we do, we are seeking a Quality Supervisor to ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards.

The Role

As Quality Supervisor, you will oversee quality control processes within our manufacturing facility. You'll lead inspections, monitor compliance, and drive improvements, ensuring our timber frame products meet specifications, safety, and customer requirements. Working closely with production teams, you'll foster a culture of continuous improvement and right-first-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise quality control activities across the manufacturing process

Conduct inspections on materials, components, and finished products

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer specifications

Identify non-conformances and lead corrective actions

Maintain accurate quality records and prepare reports for management

Support training and awareness on quality procedures for production staff

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices

Skills & Experience

Experience in a quality role within manufacturing, construction, or offsite production

Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001 desirable)

Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Confident communicator with supervisory or team leader experience

IT literate (Microsoft Office, QA systems)

Knowledge of timber frame or offsite construction is advantageous but not essential
