Description

Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for our Kingswinford based client who are actively seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their busy production team. This will be a 3 month contract to start immediately. This will be a 37 hour week on a day shift with a 2pm finish on a Friday.

Duties and tasks will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to lead and motivate the Manufacturing team with discipline and clear direction.Ensure that health and safety guidelines / procedures are always followed.Ensure the principles and measures of safety are implemented and practiced.Ensure all safety metrics are communicated to management and team members on a weekly basis.Ensure production plans are communicated on a daily/weekly basis and delivered on time in full.Ensure OEE & Labour Efficiency is monitored and achieved hourly / daily / weekly / monthly.Ensure internal PPM is maintained and a continuous reduction in the total defect ratio is achieved.Ensure all 8D reporting concerns & countermeasures are managed and communicated to/from quality.Create, control and maintain resource capacity plans.Create a reportable dashboard on all manufacturing information to produce a high–level picture of planned performance versus actual.Design, manage and maintain a platform for manufacturing data.Identify and coordinate with HR and General Manager any specific training needs in the team.Manage and organise employee annual performance review/appraisal process.Manage & monitor team holidays, sickness, disciplinary and absenteeism.Work with Plant Maintenance Leader to ensure any equipment preventative maintenance is planned and manageable to the schedule.Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:
