Print Assistant - Training Pathway to Screen Printer

Location: Bishopbriggs, Glasgow

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: Early Shift, Back Shift & Night Shift on a rotational rota system

Salary: £27,500+ Benefits

Are you looking to build a career in print manufacturing with a global leader in decorative technologies? We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Print Assistant to join our clients team and receive full training to become a qualified Screen Printer.

We are working with a world-class manufacturer of highly complex decorative plastic components and assemblies for the automotive and consumer sectors. Their Glasgow site is home to a dynamic team of production and print specialists who are passionate about innovation and quality.

The Opportunity

This is more than just a job - it's a career pathway. You'll start as an experienced Print Assistant, learning the ropes of the print production processes, and with structured training and mentoring, you'll progress into a skilled Screen Printer role.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting the setup and operation of printing equipment, machinery and presses

Assisting with material preparation and job staging

Learning to produce high-quality printed parts to exact specifications

Recording production data and maintaining accurate documentation

Participating in quality checks and continuous improvement initiatives

Maintaining high housekeeping standardsWhat We're Looking For

A minimum of 12 months experience working in a Print Assistant role

A keen interest in print manufacturing and a desire to learn

Good attention to detail and manual dexterity

A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to take on new challenges

Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions accuratelyWhat We Offer
