Press Brake Operator Required to work manufacturing company based in Bedford.

The ideal applicant will have prior experience operating press brakes in a manufacturing environment, experience working with precision sheet metal parts and the ability to interpret technical drawings. This role also require significant manual handling so you must be fit enough to undertake this work.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal sheets according to specifications.

Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine production requirements.

Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.

Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.Requirements

Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and tooling.

Ability to read, understand and follow technical drawings

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production.

High understanding of health and safety

Late shift 2pm - 12am 4 days per week (unsocial hours payment applied from 5pm)What we offer:

£12.50 per hour

Unsocial hours uplift of £3 per hour (from 5pm - 12am)
