Job Title: Contract BI Developer / Data Analyst - Manufacturing Sector

Location: Midlands (Hybrid - 1-2 days/week onsite)

Contract Length: 12 Months

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Company Overview:

We're working with a leading manufacturing business seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer / Data Analyst to support their data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can translate complex data into actionable insights.

Role Overview:

As a BI Developer / Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering high-impact dashboards and data models. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand operational goals and provide data solutions that drive performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights.

Build and optimize enterprise-grade DAX models for scalable reporting.

Write and execute SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.

Interpret data within the context of manufacturing operations to support strategic decisions.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and SQL.

Ability to understand and map business processes to data models.

Excellent communication skills to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Analytical mindset focused on delivering business value, not just technical outputs.

Additional Information:

Interviews are starting ASAP.

This is a contract role with flexible hybrid working (1-2 days onsite in the Midlands).
