Job&Talent are recruiting for experienced Picker Packer in Millbrook, Southampton, we are looking for hard working and experienced Picker Packer s to join our team, our client is ramping up for some new business opportunities and are looking for core team members to join the operation.

As a Picker Packer you will need to have:

Ability to work in a rapidly changing, fast past paced environment

Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment

A 'can do', right first time and passionate approach

Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern

Salary :

Starting at £12.21 basic rate per hour, with opportunities to increase to £12.49 based on experience

Our client offers training suitable for all candidates regardless of previous experience however previous inventory management/ experience with scanners is preferred.

We are currently looking for Full time positions, on the 2 week rotating shifts.

Location : Millbrook, Southampton

Hours of work: Rotating shifts Monday-Friday (Apply online only), (Apply online only) shifts rotate every 2 weeks.

Paid breaks - 30 min break daily, fully paid; 40 hours paid weekly, even though your weekly working hours will be 37.5!

Role of a Picker Packer :

Accurately receive, pick, assemble and load customer orders within depot accuracy and speed targets,

Contribute towards a clean and safe working environment, demonstrating concern to ensure that personal actions do not compromise the health and safety of self and/or colleagues at all times

Handle customer stock with care and consideration to minimize damages and maximize customer service

Adhere to instructions and guidelines regarding manual handling, the use of Mechanical Handling equipment, including pre-operational checks, reporting of defects, and the safe use and operation of all equipment.

Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, stacking stock onto and off pallets in a safe and stable manner ready for transit.

Please Note: This role requires long term commitment and is not suitable for candidates looking for short term temporary work.
