Job Title: Paint Shop Production Manager (Contract)

Hourly Rates:

GBP25.98 days / PAYE

GBP28.05 mornings / PAYE

GBP30.13 afternoons / PAYE

Shifts: Morning & Afternoon (06 00 / 14 00) after a short period for induction and training on days.

We are seeking a Paint Shop Production Manager to work on a contract basis for a two–year project based in Derby.

We're looking for a hands–on, safety–focused leader to oversee paint operations for large rolling stock vehicles. You ll drive performance, ensure quality standards, and support continuous improvement across all production stages.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead paint shop operations with a strong focus on Health & Safety and quality.

– Deliver production targets and support staff development.

– Manage shift transitions and oversee key processes.

– Drive process improvements and cost efficiencies.

– Conduct investigations and support the onboarding of new team members.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in large–scale paint application processes.

– Strong leadership and operational management skills.

– Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
