Nightshift Machine / Production Operator – Full-Time – Stanley, County Durham

A well-established manufacturing company in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector is currently recruiting for Machine / Production Operators to join their nightshift team based at their site in Stanley, County Durham. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for consistent, long-term work with the potential for permanent employment following a qualifying period.

Position Overview:

We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to operate machinery and support general production processes. This role involves a combination of machine operation, manual handling, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Duties:

Operating automated and semi-automated production machinery

Manual handling, lifting, and movement of goods and materials

Unloading boxes from production lines and preparing goods for dispatch

Palletising products and maintaining a clean, organised workspace

Conducting regular quality control checks to ensure product standards

Following all health and safety procedures at all times

A valid FLT Counterbalance licence is required for this position.

Shift Pattern & Hours:

Nightshift: Sunday to Thursday

Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (40 hours/week)

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive hourly rate (paid weekly)

Overtime available, paid at enhanced rates:

Time and a half

Double time (where applicable)
