Description

Mill Setter/Operator – Days/Nights (x2 Roles Available)

Location: West Bromwich

Hours: 39 hours per week, rotating 3-week shift pattern (subject to change)

Pay: £13.00 per hour

£15.86/hr with 22% shift allowance

£16.25/hr with 25% shift allowance

About the Role

We’re looking for experienced Mill Setters/Operators to join a busy and growing manufacturing team. You’ll be responsible for setting and operating roll forming equipment and ancillary machinery to produce high-quality parts efficiently and safely. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong mechanical background who are ready to take ownership of their work and contribute to continuous improvement.

Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly)

Week 1: Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 2:00pm | Friday, 6:00am – 1:00pm

Week 2: Monday – Thursday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm | Friday, 1:00pm – 8:00pm

Week 3: Sunday – Wednesday, 10:00pm – 6:00am | Thursday, 10:00pm – 5:00am

Key Responsibilities

Set and operate roll forming machines, presses, and other equipment

Maintain production rates and quality standards, reporting any issues

Complete production and quality records accurately

Ensure a clean and safe work area (following 5S standards)

Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Adhere to Health & Safety procedures at all times

Perform other duties as required by your supervisor

Proven experience working with roll forming or similar production machinery

A strong mechanical mindset with attention to detail

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Reliable, proactive, and focused on quality and safety

Flexible to work across rotating shifts and adapt to production demands
