Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace Fabrication Sheffield, UK

A global aerospace leader is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their Production & Industrial Engineering Fabrication team in Sheffield. This role offers the chance to work on advanced manufacturing processes and tooling for complex aerospace components in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies Assist in creating and executing manufacturing plans Resolve technical problems applying new engineering principles and technologies Collaborate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to deliver technical solutions Work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and professional associations to develop products and processes Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry Experience in a manufacturing environment (fabrication or assembly) working with machined detail and assembly parts Proficiency with 3D CAD systems Legal right to work immediately in the UK Preferred:

Aerospace industry experience Background in technical improvement projects Experience with SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems ABET–accredited engineering degree Benefits:
