Temporary ongoing assignment

Leamington Spa

Our client is a leading international manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa. They are looking for a Machine Operator to join their existing team on a temporary ongoing basis.

Days - £14.43 per hour

Early and Late shifts - £15.89 per hour

The Machine Operator Role:

As a Machine Operator, you will be operating and running machines on site within the press shop

Manufacturing components to a high standard

Ability to interpret and work to engineering drawings

Using engineering measuring equipment such as Vernier’s, callipers, or Micrometres

Maintaining machinery by cleaning it and making sure it is in working order and checking and ordering materials needed.

Working with multiple types of metal, including stainless steel and aluminium

Removing and cleaning of finished parts ready for Production.

Completing your own quality control checks

Completion of documentation

Keeping to tight deadlines and targets

The ideal Machine Operator

Previous experience of operating press or laser machines, setting would be an advantage

Excellent communication skills

Has the ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to plan and work from own initiative, with minimum supervision

Applicants will need to demonstrate attention to detail and reliability

Must be a self-motivated individual.

Shifts

Days - 07.00-16.00 Mon-Thurs and 07.00-12.00 on Friday (30-minute break)

Shifts -06.00-14.00 Monday to Thursday and 06.00-13.00 on Friday and 14.00 -22.00 Monday to Thursday and 13.00-20.00 on Friday (20 minutes break) Rotating fortnightly.

39 hrs per week + possible overtime
