Description

Our client, a well–established leader in the logistics market, is recruiting a Line Leader on a Temporary to Permanent basis at their Minworth depot.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage production lines and labour to meet planned volume and commercial targets, ensuring QA and safety standards are maintained. Motivate and lead a team to consistently meet production goals. Ensure the final product meets client specifications. Maximise production efficiency to meet hourly and daily targets. Utilise the integrated management system effectively. Report health and safety issues promptly. Maintain and promote company health, safety, and quality standards. Complete all paperwork and systems accurately in line with company procedures. Ensure compliance with internal and external hygienic audits. Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintain clean–as–you–go standards. Liaise with agency controllers, providing feedback on agency workers. Attend team leader meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Train and develop new starters, acting as a role model for best practice. Monitor, control, and minimise waste. Conduct return–to–work and disciplinary interviews as required. Participate in the company appraisal system. Drive personal development through training and work experience. Undertake additional duties reasonably within the scope of the role. Competence Requirements:
