MBP Door Solutions is the largest independent stockist of fire and non–fire doors in the UK. Founded in 1991, the company s success is built on providing market–leading door solutions for its customers through its seven regional distribution branches and its responsive manufacturing capabilities. We provide standard and bespoke doors, pre–hung doorsets, door kits, timber screens, and fire, smoke and acoustic door sealing products to house builders, contractors, developers, builder s merchants, public sector organisations and tradespeople.

The IBS Doors branch is part of a wider national network of MBP Door Solutions branches and manufacturing facilities which was rebranded in October 2023. Located in Reading, the branch primarily provides door and joinery solutions to the construction industry in the Southern region of the UK. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

Joining a busy team, you will ensure all enquiries and quotes are dealt with whilst efficiently processing new sales orders, dealing with customer issues and providing effective administrative support within a fast paced office environment.

CONTRACTED HOURS: 40 hours per week (Monday Friday 08:00–17:00)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

Prepare and issue accurate quotations for door and joinery products to construction industry buyers Liaise directly with customers, site agents, and project managers to ensure clear communication and excellent service. Oversee the smooth progression of orders from quote through to fulfilment. Place orders with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency. Maintain accurate records and pricing using internal systems (training provided). Ad–hoc duties when required MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

A minimum of 5 GCSE s, or equivalent, including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above Strong customer service background Proficient with Microsoft packages (including Word and Excel) Experience in a similar previous role within the internal door industry is essential A background in manufacturing would be advantageous Must be eligible to work in the UK with no restrictions of Visas and work permits.
