Afternoon Shift – Hygiene Operative – Bridlington
Location: Bridlington
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm (45-minute break)
Pay: £12.27 per hour + £8 daily shift allowance (equivalent to £13.27 per hour if full shift completed)
Type: Ongoing Work – Opportunity for Permanent Position
We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to join a well-established non-meat, non-fish food production factory in Bridlington.
Role Overview:
As a Hygiene Operative, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the site to ensure a safe and sanitary production environment. Duties include:
Cleaning production areas, equipment, and surfaces
Following hygiene schedules and procedures
Using cleaning chemicals safely and correctly
Working to strict food safety standards
Maintaining records as required
Shift Details:
⦁ Monday to Friday
⦁ 2:00pm to 10:00pm
⦁ 45-minute break
⦁ £12.27 per hour
⦁ + £8 shift allowance per day when full shift is completed – equivalent to £13.27/hour
What We're Looking For:
Someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of hygiene in food production
Able to follow procedures and work independently
Previous cleaning or hygiene experience (especially in food or factory settings) is preferred
Good attention to detail and reliability
