Lead continuous improvement activity using Lean tools and structured site systems (e.g. AMPS)

Monitor energy efficiency and cost effectiveness, advising on practical improvements

Environmental, waste & reporting

Deliver action plans to achieve environmental and waste KPIs

Own environmental tracking/monitoring and waste stream reporting

Liaise with regulators and external agencies as required

Budget ownership

Coordinate and manage revenue budgets/cost control for facilities maintenance, environmental, waste and safety up to £1.2m

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in facilities management within a fast-paced production/engineering environment

Strong track record in legal compliance and contractor/project management

Working knowledge of ISO management systems (environment and safety)

Strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practice

Confident communicator able to work with regulators, colleagues and contractors at all levels

Organised, analytical, resilient and able to work independently

Hands-on general maintenance capability (able to manually resolve issues where appropriate)

IT literate (Microsoft packages; SAP desirable)

Qualifications (desirable):
