General Operatives

DC Personnel are looking for General Operatives for our client based in Leicester not far from the City Centre

Location: Near City Centre (easy access, on-site parking & bike shed)

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Friday (39.5 hours/week) + overtime available

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Contract: Temporary to permanent after 12 weeks

About the Role:

We are seeking reliable General Operatives to join our team handling various metal products. The work can be physically demanding at times, involving loading, unloading and working on various machines to produce items such as mirrors, splashbacks for kitchens and more.

You must have warehouse experience, they will give you full training on-site for the various machinery they use.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling glass and metal materials (sometimes heavy)

Loading and unloading products

Operating different machines to produce various items

Adhering to all safety procedures and using PPE provided

Other:

Full training provided

Safety shoes required (all other PPE supplied)

On-site parking and bike shed

Convenient location near city centre with shops next door

Overtime opportunities available

Additional Information:

If you have experience as a FLT driver or crane operative, this will be advantageous as there are other roles available within the company.
