Description

We are looking for a new General Fitter!

In this position, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of complex systems, primarily pneumatic with some electronic and electromechanical components.

You will be working with a variety of parts, such as filters, regulators, sensors and tubing, as well as handling larger assemblies that may involve metal pipework.

The role requires both precision assembly skills and the ability to adapt to different system sizes and configurations.

What You’ll Do

*

Build and test systems and sub-assemblies using hand tools.

*

Fit and connect components like filters, regulators, sensors, and tubing.

*

Carry out checks to make sure everything works safely and correctly.

*

Help find and fix problems during the build process.

*

Keep your work area tidy and safe following 5S and company standards.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

*

Confident using hand tools safely.

*

Able to read basic engineering drawings or diagrams.

Desirable (not essential):

*

Experience with mechanical or electrical assembly.

*

Understanding of Lean manufacturing or 5S.

*

Interest in learning new skills across different types of work.
