Job Title: Electro–Mechanical Assembler

Electro–Mechanical Assembler

Location: Orpington

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am 4:30 pm, Friday 08:00 am 1:00 pm

Pay: GBP14.00 – GBP18.00 PH (DOE)

Type: 3 6 Months contract

Start Date: Immediate

Our client is a well–established manufacturer who is looking for an experienced Electro–Mechanical Assembler to join the team on a contract basis.

As an Electro–Mechanical Assembler, youll be responsible for the precise assembly of mechanical, electrical, optical, and hydraulic components, ensuring all parts are accurately built and tested to meet stringent production and quality standards.

What youll be doing as an Electro–Mechanical Assembler:

Assemble components to precise specifications using engineering and schematic drawingsPerform soldering and wiring of electronic components to industry standardsOperate test equipment (e.g., spectrometers, multimeters) to verify unit complianceUse hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments during assembly tasksInterpret technical drawings to produce or modify parts using lathe and/or CNC machineryPackage and inspect final assemblies for dispatch readinessMaintain a clean, organized, and safe working environmentWhat were looking for in an Electro–Mechanical Assembler:

Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, or optical assembly (or a similar technical role)Ability to read and interpret engineering and electrical assembly drawingsSkilled in soldering and wiringFamiliarity with electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and optical componentsExperience operating lathe/CNC machineryConfidence in using a range of hand and power toolsCapable of light lifting and carrying tasks when requiredThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Electro–Mechanical Assembler who enjoys working in a hands–on, high–precision technical role and takes pride in producing quality assemblies in a fast–paced environment.
