Electrical QA/QC (Frankfurt, Germany)

Description

The On-Site Group Global are looking for a QA/QC for a project in Frankfurt, Germany starting ASAP.

Applicants must have a passport that allows them to work in Germany UK passports no longer act as a valid work permit in the EU - UK passport holding applicants must have a right to work VISA for Germany.

Rate:

* €50-55/hour (travel & accommodation provided by yourself)

Duties:

* Inspect electrical installations, systems, and components to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).

* Support handover and project close-out processes by ensuring all quality documentation is complete and accurate

* Monitor and document electrical work progress and report deviations or non-conformities.

* Review and verify material approvals, equipment calibration certificates, and test reports.

* Conduct inspections during various stages of construction (e.g., conduit installation, wiring, panel installations, grounding).

* Witness electrical testing procedures (e.g., insulation resistance, continuity, Hi-pot, loop checks, functional testing).

* Prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including inspection reports, checklists, and punch lists.

* Coordinate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issues.

* Participate in internal and external audits and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

* Ensure that safety and quality standards are adhered to during all phases of electrical work.

Hours:

* 10 hours/day Monday-Friday

Duration:

* 5 months

Required:

* Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.

* Minimum [3-5] years of experience in electrical quality control, preferably in construction or industrial projects.

* Knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE).

* Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and documentation.

* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Certifications such as ISO 9001, OSHA, or QA/QC Electrical certification are a plus
