The Company
Our client is a market leader in their sector. They are now looking for a motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to work a 2 shift role.
The Role
Provide engineering/ maintenance support to the division by performing plant preventative maintenance and engineering support including out of hours. Also has responsibility for electrical/ mechanical maintenance, repair and fault finding of plant and equipment. Responsible for enacting the maintenance, implementation and improvement of plant preventative maintenance. Electrical/ mechanical fault finding, isolation and repair of equipment. Providing input into the electrical maintenance and operation of plant equipment. Working on plant improvement initiatives. Working with suitable external engineering services as and when required to ensure safe and effective operation of plant equipment. Preserve employee safety, welfare and involvement. The Person
Formal Electronic/Electrical Engineering qualification with practical experience working as a plant electrician. 18th Edition Regulations. Excellent internal and external communications skills. Demonstrable experience of working as a plant electrician. Working knowledge of PLC programming and able to read electrical/ technical drawings. Practical knowledge of electrical safety requirements.
