Description

We are recruiting a highly motivated Desktop 2nd Line Support Technician to join a dynamic team, providing high-quality 1st and 2nd line IT support. Based in Driffield, this full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for an IT professional to contribute to the organisation’s IT infrastructure while working in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide IT support across the organisation, ensuring a high level of customer service in line with ITIL principles.

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

Build, configure, and deploy laptops, mobile phones, and tablets, ensuring smooth device lifecycle management.

Perform system administration tasks, including user management in Active Directory and Exchange.

Maintain accurate records of IT issues, resolutions, and asset management.

Support mobile device and application management across Microsoft, Apple, and Android platforms.

Identify and escalate security risks where necessary.

Work on strategic IT projects and contribute to continuous service improvement.Key Requirements:

3-5 years’ experience in a customer-facing IT support role.

Strong imaging and build skills for laptops and mobile devices.

Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical and logical approach.

Proficiency in Windows OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.

Working knowledge of wireless technologies and IT asset management.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with users at all levels.

Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.

Full driving licence and access to own transport.This full-time, Monday to Friday role offers a salary of up to £31,000, depending on experience. It is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated IT professional seeking career progression within a forward-thinking company
