We're looking for CNC Milling Operators who want to join a growing business with big ambitions.

4-day week (38hrs).

Salary: Up to GBP16.25 per hour (experience dependent)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Dayshift & Nightshift (shift allowance applies for night shift)

About Washington Metalworks

Washington Metalworks is a full-service fabrication company that works across the Rail / Construction / Electrical / Automotive industries in the UK and Europe.

Our strength is our diversity, which allows us to offer stable employment for nearly 250 staff at our factory in Gateshead.

We are continuing to grow as a business and we are looking to increase the number of good quality fabricators we have in-house to help with demand.

We emphasise teamwork and encourage our staff to shout up if they experience any issues or need advice/training.

About the role:

You will be using Haas millers.

We work with a variety of materials, such as: mild steel, aluminium and stainless

You will read drawings and use your initiative to programme and run the miller.

We are a fast-paced environment, and we don't micromanage. Our staff work independently on a wide range of different jobs.

The candidate:

You must have experience as a CNC miller operator.
