Description
Thrive Oldham are recruiting Production/Assembly Operatives in the Oldham Area on behalf of our well established client
Job Desciption
Proactively work with the Production team on ensuring sales orders are completed to the correct quality standard check on cash handling equipment n line with company lead times without affecting costs.
Accurately building and configuring units to customer specifications, while performing manual and electronic reliability and accuracy testing, in readiness for packing/ labelling for dispatch and delivery.
Support in maintaining and updating all production related paperwork, including but not limited to:
Stock issues
first off inspection reports
Follow by example the companies Health & Safety policies, reporting any potentially dangerous issues/faults to your direct Team Lead or Production Manager. Including not limited to:Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
During busy and high holiday periods, support other areas within operations.
Key challenges
Working with Sales on achieving customer satisfaction by the way of delivering a quality
product on time and within cost.
Targets
In line with the production balance score card, contribute to maintain the KPI's for the following areas:
o On Time Delivery
o Quality and none conformances for production orders.
o Customer satisfaction
o Sales delivery performance
Essential Requirements
Experience of working in a busy production warehouse/environment
Experience with a quality check of electrical items
Knowledge of electromechanical products
Experience of working/ utilising Lean tools i.e. 5S, Kaizen.
Confident and flexible nature in dealing with issues that arise.
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
Good concentration with good eyes for details
PC Literate, experience of utilising Microsoft Office packages.
Immediate start after successful interview
Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm
Friday 7am – 12pm
Gym Onsite
12.21 per hour
