Location: Edinburgh, LeithJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: GBP15 per hour We are recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the logistics sector, based in Leith, for a dedicated Yard Operative. This role involves managing day-to-day operations in the yard, including handling orders, inspecting goods, and maintaining a tidy and safe environment. Occasional travel to client sites and suppliers across the UK may be required. This position offers significant opportunities for growth within a dynamic and expanding organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:

Manage day-to-day operations in the yard.Pick orders for outgoing shipments and receive incoming orders.Inspect returned goods for any issues.Maintain the yard in a tidy and safe manner.Assist in quarterly inventory checks.Load and unload containers and trucks efficiently.Report directly to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Valid driving license.Forklift license.Proven experience in health and safety practices.Proficiency with computers.Open-minded and eager to learn new skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Random Drug Testing will be mandatory Benefits:
