An award–winning global logistics company in Ipswich is expanding its warehouse team and seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Manager to oversee night operations. You'll ensure smooth continuity of operations, manage people, processes, and systems, and maintain productivity and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee night shift operations and manage warehouse staff. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and transport companies. Monitor receipt, order assembly, and dispatch of goods. Collaborate with other managers on workload planning and SOP development. Manage automated systems and respond to customer communications. Motivate teams to meet/exceed productivity targets. Produce regular reports and maintain health, safety, and security standards. Oversee warehouse maintenance and equipment. Skills/Experience Required:
Strong communication skills (written and oral). Stock management, numeracy, and finance understanding. Proven leadership, team–building, and delegation skills. Analytical, detail–oriented, and solution–driven. IT proficiency (database management, spreadsheets). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. H&S qualifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH).
