Van Driver (Collections)

Description

This client is a national Logistics company who are leading the UK and Europe in distribution, over the past 2 years have seen the demand grow significantly and so are expanding at a fast but reliable pace.

They have a state of the art distribution centre which has now become one of the main hubs, it has allowed them to also ramp up the efficiency in the operation and complete the whole cycle faster.

They Currently Run a number of vehicles specifically for collections across various routes including Crawley, Billingshurst, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Brighton and more so are looking to take on more drivers.

You will be given training with another driver then a full driving assessment to ensure you are comfortable, confident and competent to drive.

Key responsibilities

Collecting from multiple collection points across Sussex area Multi–drop Collections Daily vehicle checks pre and post shift Exceed expectation Use hand held epos scanners Confident in your ability to lift goods of upto 20kg Work in a clean and efficient manor Skills/Experience

Previous van driving experience essential Physically fit Reliable and punctual Able to work un–supervised Safe and conscious of the environment Clean and tidy In return

GBP12.50 per hour Weekly pay on a Friday Monday to Friday Incentives Optional overtime Friendly team Training Progression Use of new 3.5t diesel Vans Use of new 3.5t Electric Vehicles Refer a friend scheme GBP100 per person recommended Shift Times: 09:30am to 18:30pm
