Working as a Tug Tipper driver across the Humber Ports within a team to ensure the safe discharge of cargo
Operating a Tug Tipper machines for both ship vessel operations and daily port operationsOperating Terberg Tugs for port transfers and container vessel operationsOpportunity to be trained on a wide range of plant and machinery such as Loading Shovel, Forklifts, Cranes, Skidsteer and HoppersStevedoring duties as requiredEnsuring H&S is paramount in all that we doShifts work across days and nights working in a rota patternWhat experience do you need to be a Tug Tipper Driver?
To be a successful driver you must have a good understanding of Health and Safety as well as a Full UK Driving licence, experience driving large vehicles such as HGV, LGV or Buses is highly desirable not essential.
Full UK Driving LicencePrevious experience operating plant and machinery on a port is desirable but not essential, other sectors would be considered e.g. construction, logistics, demolition, agriculture etcExperience operating large vehicles such as HGV, LGV, 7t+, Coaches or Buses is desirable but not essentialFlexible approach to workKeen to learn new skillsPrevious experience in a similar role is is desirable e.g. Tug Driver, RoRo Driver, Lorry Driver, Port Operative.
