Zoom Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a leading UK manufacturer based in Rugby. This is an ongoing, full–time contract offering stable work, excellent rates of pay, and a fully paid two–week training programme before you start.

Monday to Friday guaranteed work

Day and Night shifts available

Weekly PAYE pay

Competitive hourly rates of 19.57 – 23.48

Fully paid two–week induction and training programme

You'll be completing bulk trunking deliveries of construction materials, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, professionally and in line with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out bulk trunk runs using Class 1 vehicles.

Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.

Ensure compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph legislation.

Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.

Maintain a professional approach when representing the business.

What You'll Need

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

Current Driver CPC

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Previous Class 1 driving experience

Good understanding of driver legislation and road safety
