HGV Class 2 Driver

Description

Staffline are currently recruiting Class 2 radial drivers in the Scunthorpe area.

Shift Pattern: 4 shifts per week preferred, flexibility considered

Start Times: Between 04:00 – 07:00

PAYE rates per hour are as follows:

Monday–Friday Days/Nights: GBP16.23

Saturday Days/Nights: GBP18.26

Sunday Days/Nights: GBP18.26

Bank Holidays Days/Nights: GBP16.23

GBP50 FTE Weekly Bonus for Radial drivers

Overtime paid from shift 5 onwards or above 42 hours worked (breaks unpaid)

Your Time at Work

– Multi–drop deliveries of ambient, chill and frozen goods to stores

– Up to 15 drops per shift

– Manual handling of roll cages

– Use of tail lifts

Full structured induction provided:

Day 1 Assessment Includes:

– Substance test

– Theory test

– 45–minute driving assessment

Induction Process:

– 5–day classroom/operational induction

– 8–10 days buddying with experienced Radial drivers

Our Perfect Worker

– Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) licence

– Hold a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card

– Have a positive, team–focused approach

– Follow all driver hours, WTD and road safety legislation

– Be flexible and committed to getting the job done right – first time, every time
