Description
HGV 1 ADR Driver – Environmental Services
Location: Blanford
Salary: 38,000 rising to 40,000 after probation + further review after 12 months
Hours: Monday to Friday (up to 48 hours per week)
Contract: Full–time, permanent
Are you an experienced HGV 1 ADR Driver looking to join a business that plays a key role in environmental sustainability? We are working with a well–established UK organisation within the environmental services sector, supporting industries with responsible waste handling and recycling solutions.

The Role
Collection and transportation of hazardous and non–hazardous materials using a Class 1 curtain–sided vehicle
Ensuring all loads are handled, secured, and transported in line with ADR and safety regulations
Completing relevant documentation accurately and efficiently
Providing a professional and customer–focused service at collection and delivery points
Occasional nights out in a sleeper cab
Manual handling involved, including lifting drums (up to 25kg)
What We're Looking For
Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence – no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN, TT, CD codes)
ADR licence (preferred, but training can be provided)
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience in a similar driving role
Strong understanding of road safety and compliance
