Our client is a well–established Freight Forwarding and Logistics company, with a multi modal team combining of many years of industry experience.

They have well developed networks of suppliers globally, connected worldwide clients & the movement of their cargo and grown from humble beginnings into an international business.

With their head office just outside London in Gravesend and offices in Hong Kong, China, Brazil, Italy, and Manchester. There freight forwarding teams work together to provide comprehensive and experienced services for logistics and freight forwarding across several specialised areas of industries

We are now recruiting due to expansion a Freight Operations Supervisor to support the Office Manager with day–to–day freight forwarding operations in the head office in Gravesend

Leading from the front as well as supervising a team of 5 Multimodal freight forwarding operators

You and your team will handle a multi modal, sea, air and road freight service both import and exports for a global client base

You will handle bookings, quotes, all shipping documentation for sea, air and road services, customs entries and clearances using Cargowise

Experience required

A multi modal freight forwarding background

Imports and exports experience

Supervised or led a small team

Customer focused and team orientated

Salary – 35,000 to 45, 000 circa
