Class 2 REFUSE

Description

GI Group are currently recruiting Class 2 REFUSE Drivers for one of our many local authorities in Nottingham.

Driver Shifts:

All shifts are temporary / Ongoing, as follows

– PM Shifts (Apply online only) HRS

– Monday to Friday

– Average 8 hour shift

Driver Pay & Benefits:

– Monday to Friday: – 17.46 per hour

Please note that pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay

Driver Main Duties will include:

– Conducting Vehicle safety checks and road worthiness

– Lead a small crew, give instructions, and manage performance on daily routes

– Communicate clearly with team members and when engaging with the public.

Driver Requirements:

– Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and road safety in traffic environments

– Competent in using in–cab systems and software to record service delivery and incidents

– Flexible and physically fit, able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and in all weather conditions

– Commitment to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service, representing the Council positively.
