Major recruitment are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well–established client based in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well–know company within the logistics and transportation industry

Temp to Perm after completing probationary period Monday to FridayStart time are between 07:00–08:00Paying 16 PH Guaranteed 8 hours per day8 to 14 Drops/CollectionsWeekly PayImmediate StartTraining ProvidedAccrued holiday weekly while on agencyDaily duties will consist of but are not limited to:–

Operating and driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locationsPerforming pre–trip and post–trip vehicle inspectionsEnsuring timely, safe and professional deliveries to customer sitesKnowledge of driving/working hoursCommunicating effectively with dispatch and customersReporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementKeeping the truck and equipment clean and tidy Essential Skills

Must have held licence minimum 12 monthsMust have minimum 12 months experience in HGV drivingNo more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.Must be able to speak and read a certain level of English.Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills.Effective communication skills.Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.Experience using a Tail Lift and Electric Pump Truck.What training is provided?
