PT Design and Build is a family owned building business, which has been in operation for over 35 years. Paul Thomas is the Director of the company and the driving force of the business. He is a very experienced, highly skilled and knowledgeable builder, having worked in the building industry all his life.

Our on site teams are qualified, experienced tradesmen with a passion for what they do and have worked for us for many years.

We consistently strive for excellence within all aspects of the business and always set ourselves a goal to exceed clients’ expectations. Our partnerships with other building industry specialists enable us to provide a robust and cohesive service for all our clients.

Paul and his team did an excellent job with our extension; accommodating design changes along the way including creation of a unique ‘one off’ hanging bed. They were also great fun to have around the house and took care to always leave things tidy and safe at the end of the day. I recommend them undeservedly.

PT Design Build have executed a number of projects on my 120 year old house including renovations, painting and decorating, repairs etc. They were realistic with schedules and budgets and performed the work to the standard we anticipated. The management were responsive and the trades polite and friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate on recommending them.

As we were embarking on a fairly big project, (kitchen extension with bifold doors; reconfiguring the patio; adding a downstairs bathroom; insulating the whole house), we painstakingly researched several builders. In the end we chose PT Design, as they itemised everything which was on budget, and very thorough in their attention to detail. Inevitably there were unforeseen extras, but we were warned about these. Paul and his team, were extremely helpful, discreet, and very professional. They also gave us many ideas and tips, and were excellent at solving problems that would inevitably arise. We are delighted with the end result as they have transformed our house.
